Here at Grace Bible Baptist Church we're striving to be obedient to the whole mandate of the Great Commission found in our Lord's instruction to His disciples at the end of Matthew's Gospel. We want to be found faithful in this crucial area of ministry which so often is neglected in many churches. We begin with a basic evaluation of where the believer is in their spiritual journey and from there we are able to help the true follower of Jesus Christ expand and stay in an ongoing, growing relationship with their Lord. We use NavPress materials beginning with the 13 lessons in the "Growing in Christ" introduction book. After the Five Assurances and eight lessons on the basics of the Christian life, we start with a series of discipleship books called "DFD" which simply stands for "Design For Discipleship." Once someone has worked their way through all eight of these books, we start a more advanced set of discipleship books called the "2:7 Series," using Colossians 2:7 & 8 as a foundation for this next step in an ongoing, growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

      Small discipleship groups meet every week for about an hour, depending on the size of the group.
